Alex Treviño is the head mariachi director of the award-winning Mariachi Oro at McAllen High School, a program known for its excellence and national recognition. A lifelong advocate for mariachi music, Alex is also one of the founding members of the Grammy-nominated Mariachi Los Arrieros del Valle, a group that helped define the modern sound of professional mariachi in South Texas. With decades of experience as both educator and performer, Alex continues to leave a lasting impact on students and audiences alike.
